When Jeffie Pearl Holland was born on August 22, 1916, in Comanche, Texas, her father, Thomas, was 26, and her mother, Callie, was 23. She had two brothers and two sisters. She died on March 26, 1997, in Abilene, Texas, at the age of 80, and was buried in Brownfield, Texas.
