*Obituary
Velma Rose Jacobs, 89, Borger, died Sunday, Nov. 5, 1989, in Coronado Community Hospital in Pampa.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Brown's Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating.
A native of Mangum, Okla., she had been a Borger resident for 49 years. She was a housewife and member of Bible Baptist Church.
Survivors include one brother, Bob Jacobs of Alava, Okla.; several nieces and nephews, including Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Duncan of Stinnett.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
