Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. today in the First Baptist Churchof Denison for Frank R. Jennings, 2213 Bonha, who died Thursday morning while fishing at Lake Texhoma near Denison.

Another services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church of Amarillo with Dr. W. Winfred Moore, pastor, officiating.

Mr. Jennings, 60, had lived in Amarillo since 1959, He was a deacon of the First Baptist Church.

Before coming to Amarillo he had been a longtime Borger businessman and was a past president of the Borger Chamber of Commerce.

Burial will be Saturday in Highland Park Cemetery in Borger under direction of Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors.

Mr. Jennings was a Mason, a member of the Scottish Rite and the Blue Lodge and was a Shriner.

He had owned the Jennings Funiture Co. in Borger and had been active in civic, business and church affairs while living there.

Surviving are his wife; two sons, Boy W. of Lubbock and Charles of Borger; his father, Henry P. Jennings Sr. of Denison; a brother, H.P. Jennings Jr. of Amarillo; two sisters, Mrs. F.I. Deering of Oklahoma City and Mrs. C.B. Newland of Gainesville, and five grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. Freida M. Jennings, 74, former longtime Borger resident, were held at 2:30 p.m. today in Ed Brown & Sons Chapel of the Fountains with Dr. Winfred W. Moore, pastor of the First Baptist Church, Amarillo, officiating.

Burial was in Highland Park Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons.

Mrs. Jennings died Sunday in Springfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank in May 1963. He had owned and operated Frank Jennings Furniture Co. in Borger.

Survivors include two sons, two brothers, one sister, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Playmates and school chums of Eleanor Jennings, friends and acquaintances of the family filled the First Baptist church to capacity Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock as a final tribute to the 11 years old girl who died Monday in a Lubbock Sanitarium, after more than a week's illness.

The Rev. J.N. Hunt preached a sincere, consoling sermon.

Fragrant floral blossoms were many, attesting to the popularity of the family, which has numerous friends both in Borger and Phillips, and out of the city.

The Lindsey Furniture Co., of which Eleanor's father, Frank Jennings, is general manager, closed its doors all day. A neighboring business, the Avary Furniture Co., closed during the services in respect to the Jennings.

Besides the parents, Eleanor is survived by two brothers, Billy Roy and Charles.

Interment was in Llano cemetery in Amarillo, under direction of the Powell Funeral Home.

Out-of-town relatives and friends here for the last rites included: Mr. and Mrs. M.M. Mosley, Mr. and Mrs. Ferdic Deering, all of Oklahoma City; Mr. and Mrs. Otis Williams and Otis Ray, Mrs. F.E. Forest, Mr. and Mrs. C.R. Williams, Mr. and Mrs. H.P. Jennings, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jennings, Sr., Henry Jennings, Jr., Mrs. Lloyd Judd, Mrs. C.B. Newland all of Denison; Mrs. George Brazelton of Dallas, C.F. Williams of Fort Worth; S.C. English and Laura Beth of Altus, Okla.; Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Smith and daughters, Jane and Violet of Carter, Okla.
