Services for Marvin Cecil Johnson, 79, of 1801 Boyd, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Minton Memorial Chapel with Dr. Winfred Moore, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Amarillo, officiating.
Interment will follow in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Mortuary.
Mr. Johnson died at 10 a.m. Thursday at Veterans Hospital in Bonham.
He was born Feb. 5, 1898 in Lundell, Ark., and had been a Borger resident since 1947.
He was owner of Coronado Drug from 1947 until 1964. He was a member of the Eureka Masonic Lodge in Monticello, Ark., Borger Noon Lions Club, Chamber of Commerce, and a charger member of the Knife and Fork Club.
He was a veteran of World War I and World War II and was a major in the U.S. Army attached to the British Air Corp.
Survivors include his wife, Rosalie; one daughter, Annette of Lubbock; two sons, Richard Pendergraft of Fort Worth and Thomas L. Johnson of Galveston; and one sister, Estelle Woods of Monticello, Ark.
