BORGER - Funeral services for Weldon Jolly, 63, of 1120 N. Hedgecoke, a prominent Borger banker, will be at 5 p.m. Saturday in the First United Methodist Church of Borger.

Mr. Jolly died Wednesday morning in the M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston.

The Rev. Carlton Thomson will officiate, with burial in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton Mortuary.

Mr. Jolly had lived in Borger about 40 years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He had served on the North Plains Hospital board for 25 years, 15 of which he served as chairman.

Jolly was a director of the First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Borger, a past president of the Borger Chamber of Commerce, past president of the Borger Lions Club and past exalted ruler of the Elks Club.

He is survived by his wife, Ethlyn; a son, Larry of Birmingham, Mich.; and one sister, Mrs. W.H. Wright of El Cajon, Calif.
