Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Monday in the East Side Baptist Church for James E. Jones, 86, who died at 1 a.m. Saturday in Northwest Texas Hospital, Amarillo.
Jones, had lived in Borger for the past 23 years and resided at 509 Delaware.
Rev. Oscar Mayo will officiate and interment will be in the Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown, Funeral Directors.
Jones is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ola Jones of the home; one son, Lewis C. Jones, Borger; one brother, Frank Jones, Kinmundy, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. Rena Crossley, Boulder, Colo., Mrs. Alta Diss, Center, Colorado, and Miss Nell Jones, Boulder.
Casketbearers will be E.L. Ford, D.W. Page, Arthur Burleson, D.J. Scott, W.E. Moffitt and Hulbert Austin.
