*Obituary
Neal Jones, 81, of Borger died Saturday, Nov. 29, 1997 in Golden Plains Community Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of the Bible Baptist Church, officiating.
Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Jones was born in Creek County, Okla., and had been a Borger resident since 1961, having moved here from Blackwell, Okla.
He was an oilfield technician for Midco Tank Company and was a Baptist.
He married Ruby Tompkins on Dec. 15, 1973 in Borger. She preceded him in death on Feb. 6, 1990.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Jones of Hennessey, Okla. and David Jones of Kingfisher, Okla.; one step-son, George Wise of Seattle, Wash.; one daughter, Frances Brooks of Borger; two brothers, Jason Jones of Magnolia, Ark. and Sie Jones of Kellyville, Okla.; one sister, Elsie Riggles of Moffit, Colo; 17 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
The family will be staying at 1406 Burch and 1502 Yows in Borger.
