Funeral services for SP-4 William A. (Willie) Jones, 23, are scheduled at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Don Haddock, pastor of Weatherly St. Pentecostal Church, officiating. He will be assisted by the Rev. Charles Broadhurst, pastor.
Interment in Highland Park Cemetery will be directed by Minton Mortuary.
The body of the serviceman will arrive in Borger at midnight tonight. He was killed March 12 during combat action in Vietnam. He was serving with Company C, 2nd Battalion of the 101st Airborne Division, in the 501st Infantry.
Surviving are his wife, Jessie of Stinnett; his mother Mrs. Jean Jones, 416 W. Ninth,; three sisters, Mrs. Troy Fletcher, of Borger, Mrs. James Hawthorne of Sunray, Mrs. Junior Slate, Hobbs, N.M.; and brother, Steve of Borger.
