BORGER - Funeral services will be announced by the Minton Mortuary for Kester Isaac June, 77, of Borger, who died about 7:30 a.m. Monday at his home following an apparent heart attack.

Mr. June, a retired division superintendent for supply and transfer of Phillips Petroleum Co., had been a resident of Borger for 20 years. He was an elder in the First Presbyterian Church and a member of the Borger Rotary Club.

He was a member of the Borger Knife and Fork Club, and was serving on the zoning board of adjustment for the City of Borger.

He was born in Cygnet, Ohio.

Survivors include his wife, Alice; one son, Kester of Bartlesville, Okla.; a daughter, Mrs. Janice Chapman of San Antonio; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Surviving are a son, a daughter, a sister, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
