Douglas Eugene Malek, age 59 of Alvin, Texas passed away Monday, March 27, 2017 at Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital in Houston, Texas. Doug was born October 10, 1957 in Sugarland, Texas and was a lifetime resident of Alvin. Doug was an avid hunter and fisherman, and had a passion for baseball that many knew him by. Doug was a loving son, brother, father and grandfather and will be dearly missed by those that knew him. He is preceded in death by his father, Odine Malek and brother, Ricky Malek.
Doug is survived by his mother, Faye James; loving dog Eze; sons, Chad Malek, Kyle Malek and wife Christy; grandchildren, Dalton, Kendahl, Jace, Kenadie and Tailar Malek; sister, Debbie Willeford; brother, Eric Malek; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
