Funeral services for Kenneth K. Kemp, 72, of 1125 N. Hedgecoke, were at 2 p.m. today in Ed Brown & Sons Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial was in Highland Park Cemetery.
Mr. Kemp died at 8:45 p.m. Monday in North Plains Hospital.
A native of Washington County, Okla., Mr. Kemp was a retired welder and Borger resident for 55 years.
He is survived by two sons, Carl of Odessa and Danny Wayne of Littleton, Colo.; two daughters, Theresa Hubbard of Borger and Marsha Jones of Euless; two sisters, Mrs. R.J. Whitlock of Ponca City, Okla. and Mrs. Les Fuller of Topeka, Kan.; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers were Davy Jones, Mel Kemp, Kenny Hubbard, Randy Hubbard, and Joe Kemp.

Mrs. K.K. Kemp, 35, of 1125 Hedgecoke, died yesterday at 11:30 a.m. at her home following a lingering illness.
Survivors include her parents: Mr. and Mrs. Joe H. Wheeler of Phoenix, Ariz., her husband, K.K. Kemp of Borger; three daughters, Ruby Lee Higgins, Theresa Ann Kemp, Marsha K. Kemp, all of Borger; one son, Carl Herman Kemp of Borger; five sisters, Mrs. Adell Nickson [sic], Bunavista; Mrs. H.C. Cambern, Stinnett; Mrs. Bobby Moulton, Ft. Worth; Vera Wheeler, Phoenix, and Mrs. Jack Jensen, Phoenix. Three brothers, B.D. Wheeler, Phoenix; James, [sic] Wheeler, Germany; and Rayford Wheeler of Spearman.
Funeral services will be held in the Fellowship Baptist church at 2:30 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Charles McDowell, pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in Highland Park cemetery under the direction of the Minton Funeral Home.
