J.D. Keys, 81, of Borger, TX, passed away, Sunday, January 20, 2013.
J.D. Keys was born Saturday, September 5, 1931 in Tahlequah, OK to Roger and Ella (McDaniel) Keys. He married his beloved wife, Ada Marie Matlock on February 4, 1950 at Tahlequah, OK. J.D. was a general contractor.
Mr. Keys is preceded in death by his parents; twin sisters, Lillian and Vivian; and two brothers, Perry Keys and Junior Keys of Tahlequah, OK.
Survivors include his wife Ada; two sons, Charlie Keys and wife Annadon of Borger, TX and Joey Keys and wife Cindy of Austin, TX; one daughter, Beverly Cordova and husband Max of Amarillo, TX; one brother, George Keys of St. Louis, MO; one sister, Ellen Jean Fears and husband Cletus of Tahlequah, OK; one sister-in-law, Elsie Keys of Keys, OK; eight grandchildren, Thomas Bodey of Borger, TX, Rusty Body and wife Amber of Amarillo, TX, Sandy Keys and wife Krista of Borger, TX, Charlie Keys II and wife Kristine of Amarillo, TX, J.D. Keys and wife Callie of Borger, TX, Joyce Young and husband C.J. of Borger, TX, Lindsey Keys of Austin, TX and Kelsey Keys of Austin, TX; and seven great grandchildren, Taelor Bodey of Amarillo, TX, Rusty Bodey Jr. of Borger, TX, Brayden Keys of Borger, TX, Carter Young of Borger, TX, Brooklyn Keys of Borger, TX, Cade Young of Borger, TX and Baby Keys of Amarillo, TX.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM, Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Southside Baptist Church in Borger, TX with Pastor Charlie Keys II officiating and Pastor James Berry assisting. Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery in Borger, TX.
Viewing will be at Brown Chapel Of The Fountains in Borger, TX on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 from 8:00AM to 8:00PM.
