Services for Walter P. Kimmel, 76, of No. 6 Emery Street, Phillips, will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the Franklin Street Church of God, with the Rev. Carroll Smith, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Mr. Kimmel died at 11 a.m. Tuesday in North Plains Hospital.
A native of Foss, Okla., he had been a resident of Phillips for 39 years. He was a retired boiler fireman for Phillips Petroleum Co., and a member of the Franklin Street Church of God.
Survivors include his wife, Bertie; one daughter, Mrs. Annabell Moore of Hartley; two sons, Ben of Sulphur, Okla., and Bob of Milwaukee, Ore,; two brothers, five sisters, 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
