FRITCH - Kenneth W. "K.W." King, 81, died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1999.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Darrell Trout officiating. Burial will be in Eastlawn Garden in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

Mr. King was born in Durant, Okla., and had lived in the Borger-Fritch area since 1951. During World War II, he served in the Army in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater for 13 months.

Mr. King retired as a field operator for Phillips Petroleum Co. He was a member of the First Assembly of God, the Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge and the International Union of Operating Engineers Local Union No. 351.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Reda King, in October.

Survivors include two daughters, Reda Gibbs of Fritch and Shirley Connell of Tulsa; a sister, Charlene Lunn of Beatty, Ore.; five grandchildren; and eight greatgrandchildren.

FRITCH - Pearl Reda King, 84, died Friday, Oct. 29, in Fritch.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at First Assembly of God in Fritch with the Rev. Darrell Trout officiating. Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Fritch.

Mrs. King was born in Johnson City and had lived in the Borger-Fritch area since 1951, when she moved from Durant, Okla. She married Kenneth King on July 29, 1939 in Caddo, Okla.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Fritch.

Mrs. King is survived by her husband, Kenneth King of the home; two daughters, Reda Gibbs of Fritch and Shirley Connell of Tulsa, Okla.; three brothers, Chesley Leinneweber and Vernon Leinneweber, both of Newalla, Okla. and George Leinneweber of Onalaska; one sister, Mable Mershon of Tulsa, Okla; five grand-children and eaight great-grand-children.

Casket bearers will be Larry Don Gibbs, Kelvin Gibbs, Robert James Dickey, Cliff Procter and Donald G. Gibbs.
