Wife of Willie Anton Heinrich
Rosary service for Madeline Heinrich, 85, of Slaton will be 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, 2006, in Englunds Chapel. Resurrection Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 16, 2006 in St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Nicholas Rendon officiating. Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery and under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service and Chapel of Slaton.
Madeline died Friday, January 13, 2006.
She was born March 3, 1920 in Vernon. She moved to the Posey area in the mid-1920s and attended Posey schools, but graduated from Slaton High School in 1938. She married Willie A. Heinrich on Oct. 28, 1940 in Slaton and he preceded her in death on March 20, 1983. Madeline had worked for Earlenes Dress Shop, Ronas Clothing Store and Hemphill Wells. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Altar Society, church choir and Catholic Daughters.
Madeline is survived by her son, Stanley Heinrich and wife, Beverley of Lubbock; daughters, Diane Balmanno and husband, Art of Spring, TX, and Charmaine Hawkins and husband, Don of Atlanta, Georgia; 7 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A special cat, Patches, who gave her many hours of comfort, also survives Madeline.
