Rosary for Ottilia Ruth Miksch Heinrich, 97, of Slaton will be at 7:30 p.m. today in Englunds Chapel with the Rev. Lawrence Hemp, pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church, officiating. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Lawrence Hemp officiating.

Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service.

She died Friday, July 14, 2000, in Elderhaven in Lubbock.

She was born Sept. 11, 1902, in Schulenburg. She married Otto E. Heinrich on Oct. 18, 1921, in Schulenburg. He died Sept. 10, 1973. She was a resident of the Slaton area since 1924. She and her husband farmed southeast of Slaton until 1960 when they retired. She was also a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, a 50-year member of the Catholic Daughters and a previous president of St. Joseph Catholic Church Altar Society.

Survivors include three sons, Walter, Franklin and Royce, all of Slaton; four daughters, Lydia Buxkemper, Valeria Wimmer, both of Slaton, Sister Angelita Heinrich of St. Louis, Mo., and Sister Cleo Heinrich of Lubbock; a sister, Rose Stanzel of Schulenburg; 31 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
