*Obituary
Lester L. Langley, 94, Borger, died Sunday, July 17, 1994 in North Plains Care Center.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Jimmy Gillmore, pastor of Riverview Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
A native of Big Clifty, Ky., he had been a Borger resident for 43 years. He was a retired carpenter with Hughes Construction Company. He was a member of Riverview Baptist Church, and Isom Masonic Lodge No. 1242.
He married Lona Jean Clements Oct. 1, 1916 at Hunt County, Texas.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, W.M. "Lefty" Langley of Amarillo; the Rev. Lawrence Langley of Spiro, Okla.; Bill Langley of San Antonio; and Lester Dan Langley of Athens, Ga.; two daughters, LaValle Moore of Borger; Elizabeth Johnson of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a sister, Aline Tanner of Shreveport, La.; 18 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and 40 great-great-grandchildren.
