Lester Lay, 80, Borger, died Monday, Nov. 30, 1992 in St. Anthony's Hospice in Amarillo.

A native of Salem, Mo., he had been a Borger resident since 1930. He was a retired mechanic for Phillips Petroleum Company.

He was a member of First Christian Church, and a World War II veteran.

He married Irene Ray on May 28, 1948 in Borger.

He is survived by his wife of the home.

Memorials may be made to St. Anthony's Hospice in Amarillo.
