*Obituary
Funeral services for Flaud B. Layton, 70, Borger pioneer, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Cameron, pastor, and the Rev. James Glenn, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown, funeral director.
Layton died in North Plains Hospital Wednesday morning. Active casket bearers will be Carl Brant, Ben Stokes, Cecil Humphrey, Paul Richardson, Earl Bennett and Johnnie Welch. Honorary pall bearers are M.E. Thompson, John Trammel, Will Gassaway, Joe Reed, Robert Chumbley, R.O. Shough, Wade Gillespie, Creed Bogan, John Maples, Arkie Jones Fred Abel and Ben Wooley.
