Funeral services for John D. Lehr, 76, Borger, were at 11 a.m. today at Minton Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor Bible Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial was in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Lehr died at 4:10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, 1991 in High Plains Baptist Hospital in Amarillo.
A native of Corpus Christi, he had been a Borger resident for 55 years. He was a retired chemical engineer with J.M. Huber, Corp.
He earned chemical and electrical engineering degrees from Texas Tech University. He was a member of the Moose Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Mary of the home; a stepson, Don Farrington of San Antonio; a daughter, Shari Miller of Bartlesville, Okla.; two brothers, Dale Lehr of Dallas; and Theron Lehr of Irving; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were John Bayless, Dempsey Harrell, Jake Jordan, Henry Hamra, Abe Latman, J.W. Janes, and Troy Toomes [sic].
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
