Borger News Herald - June 26, 1950
O.E. Lent, 54, longtime Borger resident, who resided at 101 South Hedgecoke, died at North Plains Hospital at 1:40 Sunday morning after an illness of one week.
A veteran of World War I, Lent was employed here by the Texas Well Servicing company at the time of his death.
Surviving him are three sisters; Mrs. Charles C. Reed, Washburn, Mo., Mrs. C.M. Patterson, Wellington, Texas and Mrs. Jane Youts of Center, Colorado. The body is resting at the Blackburn-Shaw-Brown Funeral Home.

Last rites for Oris Lent, 54, longtime Borger resident who died early Sunday morning, will be conducted in the chapel of the Blackburn-Shaw-Brown Funeral Home at 2:30 Wednesday with Paul Cullen, Pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating. Interment in Highland Park cemetery will be under the direction of Blackburn-Shaw-Brown.
