Enid Agatha Griffin Holland Allen passed away peacefully to her heavenly home on July 29, 2013. Visitation will be on Friday August 2, 2013 from 6 to 8 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at Resthaven's Abbey Chapel on Saturday August 3, 2013 at 1 pm. Burial will follow at Englewood Cemetery in Slaton, Texas.

She was born on July 6, 1914 in Lake Creek, Texas. She was the daughter of Charles and Erin Griffin.

Enid is survived by her children: Dianitha Roberts and husband Billy of Cleburne, Texas; Hobart Holland of Cleburne, Texas; E.V. Holland of Salt Lake City, Utah; Leslie Holland and wife Linda of Levelland, Texas; Brenda Slauson and husband Bob of Cleburne, Texas and Lorraine Rainwater and husband Walter of Fort Worth, Texas. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her children, a baby girl Holland, Milton James, Dale Wayne and Kenneth Don Holland, her parents and siblings.
Enid G. Holland went to school in Slaton, Texas for several years. She was married a short while to a man with the last name of Griffin. She married Johnnie James Holland March 16, 1938 in Slaton, Texas. Johnnie died in June 1978 in Winslow, Washington, Arkansas. Three of her sons are buried in Englewood Cemetery in Slaton. They are Kenneth Don, Milton James and Dale Wayne.
