*Obituary
Longtime Cottle County resident, Clara Vestal Bullock, 83, died Friday in Richards Memorial Hospital. Services were held Sunday, December 22, at 3 p.m. in First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Lonnie Harris and Rev. Steve Henton of First Christian Church officiating. Born April 1, 1891, in Monroe County, Louisiana, she had been a resident of Cottle County for about 50 years. She had been a resident of Woods Nursing Home three years, and in the hospital two days. Survivors include four sons: Woodrow of Ft. Worth, Major of Carrollton, Texas, Oislee of Fullerton, Calif., and Buck of Rosemead, Calif.; four daughters, Mrs. Cofie Mobley of Hope, Ark., Mrs. Viola Woodley of Huntington Beach, Calif., Mrs. Wanda Liedtke and Mrs. Ruth Hutchison of Paducah. Pallbearers were grandsons of Mrs. Bullock. Burial was in Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of Norris Funeral Home.
