Billy was born Mar 4, 1929 in Friona TX to Joseph & Jessie Cansler.
In 1946 he joined the US Air Force and in 1950 he married Betty Sue O'Neal.
Together they raised their family and were very active within their community.
Billy was a member of the Baptist Church and a carpenter by trade. He was a
Local Union Business Rep. Dallas Love Field #1274 Masons, member of the
Scotish Rite of Free Masonry, Selective Service Draft Board, He also taught
Sunday School and was a softball, track, basketball coach and Honorary PTA Life
Member
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Betty Sue Cansler
4 children & in-laws, Cindy (Rick) Schuler, Billy Ray (JoAnn) Cansler,
Tommy Neal (Harneem) Cansler, Joe Able (Joei) Cansler, 1 brother Al Cansler,
1 sister Doris Day, 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a wealth of
other family members and friends.
