*Obituary
Ernest Lewis, 26, of Stinnett, was killed instantly Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock while working as a driller on an oil rig near Boise City, Okla.
A resident of this area since 1947, Lewis recently went to Boise City. He was a veteran of the naval forces.
Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Joyce Lewis; a son, Michael Wayne; his father, Ernest H. Lewis Sr., of Oklahoma City; a brother, Sam Lewis of Borger; a sister, Mrs. Annie Belle Hodges, of San Tee, Calif.; a half brother, Billy Lewis, Erick, Oklahoma, and two half sisters, Caroline Fay Lewis of Erick, Okla., and Linda Sue Lewis, of Oklahoma City.
The remains were brought to Borger, pending final funeral arrangements.
