Final rites for Sam M. Line, 72, of Graham, Borger resident from 1926-57, were held Saturday from Gardner St. Church of Christ with burial in Highland Park Cemetery, directed by Minton Mortuary.

Casketbearers were C.H. Meyer, Van Reed, Dale German, Iva Wright, Billy Gillman and S.S. McVay.

Line died Friday in Graham General Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Alma; three sons, three daughters, three sisters, 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Alma P. Line, 86, 15 Adobe Trail, Borger, died December 31, 1989 at High Plains Baptist Hospital, Amarillo.

A homemaker, she was a native of Jacksboro, Texas and a Borger resident for 18 years.

She was a member of Johnson Park Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Sam M. Line in 1969.

She is survived by three sons, Garvin M. Line of Borger, Eugene Line of Dumas, Sammy R. Line of Amarillo; three daughters, Mrs. Louise Ausbrooks of Borger, Mrs. Georgia Gillman of Borger, Mrs. Nancy Blinker of Dallas; two brothers, Bevins Todd of Denison, Joe Todd of Washington; three sisters, Mars. Jack Anderson of Denison, Mrs. Marie Dunlap of Jacksboro, Mrs. Rena Armsworthy of Borger; 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson Park Church of Christ with Mr. Gary German and Mrs. Stewart Gillespie officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton/Chatwell.
