Margaret Ann McGlinchey was born on February 14, 1850 in Pennsylvania, to Eunice Kildee and Frank McGlinchey. Her mother died when she was approximately 11 years old.
Miss McGlinchey then became the wife of John O'Brien. Through the 1940 Census, they had 5 children.
Mrs. Margaret O'Brien died on March 29, 1936 in Houston, Harris County, at the age of 86.
