John K. Cruce, Jr, 89, a past Paducah resident, passed away Feb 29, 2012 in Flower Mound TX.
Grave side service will be at 2:00 pm, Friday, March 2, 2012 at the Paducah Garden of Memories Cemetery with Pastor Ricky Lawrence officiating. Family visitation will be prior to service at Zapata Funeral Home.
John was born Sept 24, 1922 to John,Sr & Carrie Mae Cruce. After his early education he earned his way as a farmer in Cottle County. When his health would no longer allow him to farm he moved to Lubbock and became a truck driver.
John married the love of his life Mary Louise Harper in Paducah. He was a dedicated family man that adored his wife and children and strived to see to their happiness and daily needs. His entire world revolved his love for the Lord, his family and life in general.
John is preceded in death by his parents,
2 sisters - Lillie Edna Cruce and Helen Howell
He is survived by his wife of 67 years Mary Cruce
1 daughter & son in law - Mark Kay & Larry Cheatham of Flower Mound
2 grandchildren - Bryan Bankhead & Dana Sanderson
and 4 great grandchildren.
