BORGER - Roy Lively, 84, died Friday, Jan. 16, 2009.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Gateway Baptist Church with Chris Rawlinson officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors.
Mr. Lively was born Jan. 26, 1924, to John and Birdie Lively in Mineral Wells. He loved golf, hunting, more golf, walking and singing at church.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Lively; a son, Roy Lively Jr. of Lubbock; two daughters, D.D. Reece of Borger and Regina Austin of Fritch; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials made to Hospice Care of the Southwest, 1301 S. Coulter St., Suite 404, Amarillo, TX 79106; or Golden Plains Community Hospital, 200 S. McGee St., Borger, TX 79007.
