*Obituary
Walker Wayne Locke, 69, of 1311 Francis St., died at 5:25 p.m. Wednesday in North Plains Hospital.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in the Gardner Street Church of Christ with Darnell Boyd, minister, officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Mr. Locke was born in Running Water, Texas, and had lived in Borger 43 years. He worked for Southwestern Bell 43 years. He was a member of Gardner Street Church of Christ and Southwestern Bell Pioneers.
Survivors include his wife, Vineta; a daughter, Mrs. J.F. Briscoe of Borger; a son, Donald F. Locke of Portland, Ore.; two sisters, Mrs. Earl Hicks of Plainview and Mrs. Cecil Bell of Lubbock; two brothers, Tom Locke of Plainview and Bob Locke of Irving; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
