Bobby (Bob) Joe Campbell was born at Crosbyton, Texas to Oscar F. and Odie Faye (Helton) Campbell, Sr. on December 1, 1933. He went with the angels on Saturday, April 26, 2014. Visitation will be Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Agape Funeral Home in Lubbock, Texas. From 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M.. Graveside services will be at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, May 1, 2014 at the Lorenzo, Texas cemetery.
Bob was proceeded in death by his parents, a sister, Wanda Faye Pierce, and brothers, Garland Campbell, Oscar Franklin Campbell Jr., and Jack Dale Campbell. He is survived by a brother, Billy Wayne Campbell of Lubbock, Texas. Best friend Barrymore Keith, and Evelyn Taylor of Lubbock, Texas. Several nieces and nephews. A long time friend and soul mate Alice Gillespie Riddle of Lubbock, Texas.Bob's life work was simple and hard working. He was a maintenance worker on the 6666 Ranch, road maintenance for Crosby County of Texas and also for Bolton Oil.
Bob had a big heart. Always helping others in need of. He loved music of all kinds and played keyboard. He loved THE LORD. He read the BIBLE daily. He was a Methodist with membership at 1st United Methodist Church of Lubbock, Texas. A participant of Silver Star Inclusive Care with much gratitude to staff and fellow participants.
He lived by THE GOLDEN RULE "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
