PANHANDLE - Mary Alice Brown JOHNSON, 70, died Monday, Feb. 15, in Panhandle.

Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Fairmont Cemetery in Follett with Dr. Marcus Adair, pastor of Faith Bible Center in Canyon, officiating. Interment will be under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Panhandle.

Mrs. JOHNSON was born in Beaver County, Okla. She moved to Panhandle in 1998 from Joplin, Mo.

She retired after 24 years as secretary at Missouri Southern College. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Joplin, Mo.

She married Earl JOHNSON, Jr. on Aug. 31, 1946, in Ashland, Kan. He preceded her in death July 20, 1984.

Survivors include one son, Gary JOHNSON of Tulsa, Okla.; one brother, Bill BROWN of Panhandle; and two sisters, Joan FRUIT of Plains, Kan. and Lorraine PETTIT of Oceanside, Calif.
