Charles "Charlie" Edward Mackey
August 03, 1924 - August 08, 2015
Charles "Charlie" Edward Mackey of Fritch passed away Saturday August 8, 2015. He was born August 03, 1924 in Slick, Oklahoma to C.D. and Lydia Ann (Conn) Mackey.
He was an operator at Phillips Petroleum Company. He and Nonnie Hinders were married on May 22, 1993 in Borger. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Mr. Mackey is preceded in death by his first wife Jean, 12 siblings, a grandson and his parents.
Mr. Mackey is survived by his wife Nonnie; a son David and wife Gina Mackey of Fritch; a daughter Ann Marie Poulain of Austin; a brother Alvin and wife Glenda Mackey of Okmulgee, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Mr. Mackey will lie in state at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains, Borger on Tuesday, August 11 from 8 A.M. - 8 P. M.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains. Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery, Borger.
