Funeral services were held this afternoon for Earnest A. Malone, 69, at Minton Memorial Chapel.
Burial was held in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Mortuary.
Mr. Malone had lived in Borger for 35 years. He lived at 2632 Prairie at Johnson Camp.
He was a retired Phillips Petroleum employee.
Survivors include his wife, a son, four daughters, a brother, sister, and three grandchildren.

Lillie Malone, 68, 2632 Prairie View St., died Thursday in her home.
A housewife, she was a native of Henryetta, Okla., and a longtime Borger resident.
She is survived by one son, Don of Glazier; one daughter, Ellen Ekstrom of Kansas City, Mo.; one brother, Earl Underwood of Rock Springs, Wyoming; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest A. Malone in 1978.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Highland Park Cemetery with Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor, Bible Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be under the direction of Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Home.
