Funeral services for Red Martin, 69, of 827 Latimer, are pending with Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Mr. Martin died this morning in M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston.
A native of Shamrock, he had lived in Borger 40 years.
He was a retired independent oil consultant.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Methodist Men's Club, Masonic Lodge, and Elks Lodge. He was also a Shriner.
Survivors include his wife, Wenonah; two daughters, Mrs. Anne Parker of Checotah, Okla. and Mrs. Judy Mayo of Illinois; two sisters, Mrs. Troy Walty of Clarendon and Mrs. Richard Lancaster of California; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for J. L. "Red" Martin, 69, of 827 Latimer, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Lyman Paul Wood officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Home.
