Jesse W. Matlock, 71, Borger, died Saturday, Nov. 5, 1994 in Golden Plains Community Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Terry Raines, pastor Central Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.

A native of Welling, Okla., he had been a Borger resident for 47 years. He was a Baptist.

He married Juanita Williams on Sept. 1, 1959 in Borger.

Survivors include his wife; a son, James Matlock of Borger; a daughter, Cathy West of Borger; four brothers, Ray Matlock of Tulsa, Okla.; Haley Matlock, all of Tahlequah, Okla.; three sisters, Effie Clark and Ada Keys, both of Borger; and Ruby Nesbitt of Hutchinson, Kan.; and two grandchildren.

Juanita Matlock passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Borger Health Care.

She was born October 23, 1935 in Fairfax, Oklahoma to Walter Lowell and Mary Nellie (Corbett) Williams. On September 1, 1959,in Borger, she married Jessie Matlock.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Jessie; her son, James and her parents.

Her survivors include: a daughter, Cathy Jones and husband Troy of Borger; 2 brothers: John Williams of Angleton, Texas and Jim Williams and wife Winonna of Kirkland, New Mexico; 2 grandchildren: Michelle Cassity and husband Mark of Stinnett and Steven West of Borger; 6 great grandchildren: Isabel Chavez of Stinnett, Caiden Humphrey of Yukon, Oklahoma, Courtney Cassity of Stinnett, Destiny Cassity of Stinnett, Gregory Cramer and wife Sarah of Stinnett and Jonathan Cassity of Stinnett; 2 great-great grandchildren: Asteria Cramer and Erik Cassity both of Stinnett; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Juanita loved to collect frogs. She played Yahtzee and Bingo and won many prizes playing Bingo. Her family says she was the best Mom and Grandma. She was always suprising everyone with little "thinking of you" presents. Her daughter says "If you ever needed her, she was always there".

Mrs. Matlock will lie in state Sunday, February 11 from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm and Monday, February 12 from 8:00am - 5:00 pm at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains, Borger.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Highland Park Cemetery, Borger.

Services are entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors, Borger.
