BORGER - Frances E. Norton Matthews, 85, died Monday, March 15, 1999.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today in Highland Park Cemetery with the Rev. Pat Youngquist, pastor of Harvest Time Pentecostal Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Matthews was born in Sanger and had lived in Borger for 51 years. She was a housewife and a Pentecostal.
She was preceded in death by her husband, O. L. Norton, in 1976; her second husband, Clarence Matthews, in 1993; and two sons, Leon Norton in 1996 and Gerald Norton in 1997.
Survivors include a son, Billy Norton of San Antonio; three daughters, Nona Compton, Winnie Hayes and Marilyn Meyer, all of Borger; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
