Funeral services for Cornelius Loeppky, age 72 of Seminole, Texas will be held Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Old Colony Mennonite Church with Cornelius Fehr officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mr. Loeppky was born in Mexico August 2, 1948 to Helen (Wiebe) and Cornelius Loeppky. He married Susan Penner in Canada on March 13, 1977. He was a member of Old Colony Mennonite Church and owned and operated C. Loeppky Trucking for 25 years. Cornelius enjoyed helping people, swimming, being outdoors, joking around, telling jokes, and being around his family and grandchildren. He loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren.
Cornelius Loeppky passed away Monday, May 17, 2021 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother. He is survived by his wife Susan of Seminole; four sons, Ricky Peters of Canada, Johnny Loeppky and wife Eva, Neil Loeppky and wife Margarita, and Jacob Loeppky, all of Seminole; four daughters, Susanna Klassen of Canada, Helen Fehr and husband Peter, Nancy Giesbrecht and husband Henry, and Susie Klassen and husband Jake, all of Seminole; one brother, Peter Loeppky and wife Tina of Canada; six sisters, Anna Wall, Agatha Klassen, Helen Dyck and husband Cornelius, Mary Dyck, Christine Hamm and husband Peter, and Trudie Wiebe and husband Ron, all of Canada; and 24 grandchildren.
