Lubbock, Texas - IVA JO HUCKABAY CORNWELL, 80, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2007.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Ralls (Texas) Cemetery.
Jo was born Aug. 26, 1927, in Plainview, Texas, to Lonnie Dean and Dessie Mae Richardson Huckabay. She attended school in Crosbyton. She married J.L. Cornwell on Dec. 25, 1945, in Ralls. He preceded her in death April 16, 1989. She was a resident of Ralls until 2000, when she moved to Lubbock.
Survivors include two sons, Johnny W. Cornwell and wife Linda of Duncan, Okla., and Keith Cornwell of Lubbock; a daughter, Jo Retta Knight and husband Ronald of Hot Springs Village, Ark.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, James Huckabay and Dean Huckabay; a sister, Ruby Ellison; and a granddaughter, Kendra Sefcik.
