Charlie Julius Maywald was born on May 5, 1897 in Texas to Stephen William Maywald and Elizabeth Louise Buechman.
Mr. Maywald was a private in the U.S. Army serving in World War I. His unit was the HDQS COMPANY 165TH DEPOT BRIGADE.
Charlie died on October 24, 1964 in Temple, Bell County, Texas at the age of 67.
