*Obituary
Funeral services for Charlie V. McCord of Borger, retired farmer, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Wesley Methodist Church, Borger, with Rev. O.A. McBrayer, pastor of the church, assisted by Rev. O.M. Butler, pastor of Pampa Harrah Methodist Church, officiating. Mr. McCord died in Worley Hospital at 8:45 Thursday night.
He was born June 12, 1887 in Frost, and had resided in Pampa until nine years ago, when he moved to Borger.
Masonic rites will be held at graveside with burial in the Borger Cemetery under the direction of Duenkel-Carmichael Funeral Home. Masons will meet at 2:45 p.m. Saturady [sic] at the Masonic home before going to the funeral.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Elizabeth of Borger; two daughters, Mrs. W.B. Neel of Pampa, Mrs. T.C. Kitches Jr. of Spearman; three sons all of Borger, Jerome, Joe and John; one sister, Mrs. Inez Chapman of Trulock, Calif.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
