Billie Jean McFarland
July 25, 1927 - October 19, 2017

Billie Jean (Brooks) McFarland passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Good Life Nursing Home, Amarillo, Texas.

She was born July 25, 1927 at Borger, Texas to James David and Nola Edna (Hearn) Brooks. On April 19, 1947, Billie Jean married V. E. McFarland in Pampa, Texas. She was a resident of Fritch, Texas for many years before moving to Amarillo.

Billie was preceded in death by her husband, V.E. McFarland; her parents; a sister, Leola Ross: a brother, James David Brooks, Jr. and a grandson, Patrick McFarland.

Survivors include: her daughter, Sharon Toycen and husband Brian of Amarillo, TX; a son, Clyde McFarland and wife Vickie of Alvord, TX; two grandchildren, Katherine Toycen of Dallas, TX and Heather Redder and husband Scot of Alvord, TX; two great grandchildren, Patrick Redder and Nathan Redder as well as other relatives and friends.

Billie McFarland will lie in state at Brown Funeral Chapel in Fritch on Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 1:00 to 6:00 PM.

Private Family Interment.

Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors, Fritch.
