FRITCH - V.E. "Gene" McFarland, 75, died Monday, Aug. 5, 2002.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Highland Park Cemetery in Borger with the Rev. Calvin Winters, pastor of First Southern Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors.
Mr. McFarland was a retired SIS-4 operator for Phillips Petroleum Co. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Billie; a son, Clyde David McFarland of Bowie; a daughter, Sharon Toycen of Amarillo; a sister, June Smith of Borger; and three grandchildren.
