BORGER - Ramona "Mona" Louise Melton Geerdes, 57, died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006, in Amarillo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Central Baptist Church with Chris Riley, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Ms. Geerdes was born Nov. 14, 1948, in Tucumcari, N.M., to Dan and Francis Goltry. She worked as office manager for Dr. Holland.

Survivors include her mother of Porum, Okla.; two sons, Rex Melton of Fritch and Trenton Melton of Hugoton, Kan.; two sisters, Jo Malone of Glazier and Betty Young of Porum; five grandchildren; and a very special friend, David Geerdes of Borger.

The family suggests memorials be to BSA Hospice, P.O. Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79105.
