Services for Dixie R. Johnston, 84, of Slaton will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Westview Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Martin officiating.
Burial will be in Englewood Cemetery under the direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.
She died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2001, at University Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 19, 1916, in Cleburne and attended school at Parker and Rio Vista. She married Thaddeus Leonard Johnston on Oct. 13, 1933, in Cleburne. He died April 2, 1993.
She moved to Slaton in 1937 from Cleburne. She had been employed at Lu's Apparel, Lena Stephens, Little's and the City of Slaton office.
A son, Jerry, died Aug. 9, 1997.
Survivors include a son, Larry of New Bern, N.C.; a daughter, Nancy Pratt of DeSoto; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
