Barney L. Morrison, 45, died at 6:55 a.m. today in North Plains Hospital. A contractor, Morrison was a longtime Borger resident. He was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Ava Dortha of the home, 704 Lee; two sons, Gary of the home and Kenneth of Sanford; a daughter, Dortha of the home; his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Morrison of Borger; two brothers, Bert Morison of Borger and Orville Morrison of Los Angeles, California and ne [sic] grandson.

Funeral services will be announced later by the Simpson Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Barney L. Morrison have tentatively been set for 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Calvary Baptist Church. The pastor, the Rev. Jeff Moore, will officiate at the services with interment following in Highland Park cemetery under the direction of Simpson's Funeral Home.

Morrison, 45, died early Monday in North Plains Hospital. A long-time Borger resident, he lived at 704 Lee and was a contractor.
