PADUCAH -- Funeral services for Johnnie Ruth Jeffers of Plainview were held at First United Methodist Church in Paducah, TX, the Rev. Roy C. Keith officiated.
Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Paducah by Seigler Funeral Home.
Mrs. Jeffers died early Sunday, Oct. 10, 2004, at her residence in Plainview. She was a graduate of Idalou High School and continued her education at Baylor University and Texas Tech University.
She married George "Coon" Jeffers on Dec. 25, 1937, in Paducah. He died Nov. 11, 1980. Mrs. Jeffers resided on the 6666 ranch for more than 25 years before moving to Paducah. After the death of her husband, she moved to Plainview. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in Paducah. She enjoyed doing needlepoint and sewing and growing vegetables and flowers.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Jeffers of Plainview; one niece and five nephews.
