*Obituary
Lorease Johnson,65, of Paducah, died about 1:00 p.m. Monday at Richards Memorial Hospital in Paducah following a short illness.
Funeral services were at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Missionary Baptist Church of Paducah, with Rev. Emmett Autrey, pastor, officiating. Interment was in Garden Of Memories Cemetery at Paducah under the direction of Seigler Funeral Home.
The former Emma Lorease Owens was born April 15, 1917, in East Texas. She moved to Cottle County in the early 1920's with her parents, and was married to Percy Johnson on January 26, 1934. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church of Paducah.
Her husband, Percy Johnson of Paducah; five daughters, Jean Perkins of Paducah; Wanda Sue King of Leuders, TX., Arlene Bearden of Floydada, Texas,Linda Holbert of Floydada, Texas, Brenda Shields of Greenville, Texas; two brothers, R. L. Owens of Paris, Texas, and Hulon Owens of Paducah; Three sisters, Marzelle Robinson of Paducah, Flodell Whatley of Naravisa, New Mexico, Onaetta Davis of Cross Plains, Texas; 23 Granchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were Terry Owens,Ronnie Owens, Gerald Owens, Eddy Owens, Tommy Robinson, Allen Davis.
