CHILDRESS - Burl Mundy, 76, died Saturday, June 10, 2000.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Highland Park Cemetery at Borger with the Rev. John Sursa officiating. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Mundy was born in Little Rock, Ark. He lived in Stinnett, Borger and Childress for 25 years. He served in the Army during World War II. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Norris of Willcox, Ariz., and Sgt. Maj. Jordan Jeffcoat of Fort Campbell, Ky.; a daughter, Helen Scott of Elkhorn, Neb.; a brother, Beck Mundy of Caruthers, Calif.; two sisters, Helen McCain of Mineral Wells and Eva Arnn of Childress; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
