Miss Mary Ella Ener was born on March 25, 1878 in Hemphill, Sabine County, Texas to James Cornelius Ener and Mary Elizabeth Travis.
In 1905 she married Cleveland Lafayette Dees.
Mrs. Dees died on May 27, 1964 in Houston, Harris County, Texas at the age of 86. Her husband preceded her in death by 15 years.
